Environment:
PC, Windows 98/2000/Millennium/XP/Vista. To view data charts, you need MS Graph object (of MS Office) installed. To get MS Word reports you need MS Word installed. You can check IBD operation on your computer after downloading and installation.
Installation:
You can download IBD from this page, install it on your computer and evaluate with some limitations: number of products, consumers, materials, etc., and also without save, report and export capabilities. To use full IBD capabilities you need to register your IBD copy and to get password.
After downloading you will get IBDInstall.zip file on your computer. You should extract its content by means of WinZip program. (If you do not have WinZip, download it from www.winzip.com). To extract installation files select IBDInstall.zip, right click it, select 'Extract to...', select a destination folder and click 'Extract'.
After extracting you will have some files in the destination folder including Setup.exe. Click Setup.exe. The installation will start. Then you need only to choose preferable features from the options proposed by setup program. Setup will write all necessary files and records to corresponding folders and registers.
Running IBD:
Click Start button on your desktop, select Programs, Integrated Business Decisions group, click IBD. The IBD start window appears with the form Welcome to IBD! Read the form text. Depending on your purpose click OK or Cancel buttons on the form. The form disappears. Click either Help toolbar button to learn IBD, or Open button to open an existing business project, or New button to create a new project from IBD template. Then follow the instructions in the appearing IBD guide message.
